| Problem/Symptoms |
On Windows, the NPITools.lib file is missing from the wsi_sdk/server/ws/lib/npi/windows directory after the installation. This causes failures if you are attempting to build your own NPI based provider. |

| Resolution |
1. Download the NPITools.lib file from this link
2. Stop the CIMOM
3. Copy this file to the wsi_sdk/server/ws/lib/npi/windows directory
4. Restart the CIMOM |
